Flavorful Fasting: Navratri Day 1 Recipes with Puress Mustard Oil

Navratri is a festival filled with devotion, celebration, and an opportunity to detox the body and mind. Observing the Navratri fast, or vrat, is an essential part of the festivities for many devotees. During this period, many people switch to a lighter, cleaner diet, abstaining from grains, garlic, onion, and other ingredients considered heavy or tamasic in nature.

Fasting doesn’t mean food has to be bland or unsatisfying. With the right ingredients, you can create flavorful, nutritious, and energizing meals that keep you going throughout the day. Puress Mustard Oil, with its robust, earthy flavor and rich nutrient profile, is an ideal cooking companion for your Navratri vrat dishes.
